If you have ever heard me talk about weddings, you know that I have a lot of favorite moments through out the day. In fact, it’s the moments that are really one of the things I love most about photographing weddings. Every couple, family members and friends all have different ways of expressing emotion and happiness and I think that is the one thing that makes every wedding unique. Wedding photographers usually know the times during the day when they can anticipate a moment is going to happen, its what sets us apart from other photographers. For example, we know that before the bride (or groom) walks down the aisle, there is a little look of anticipation and excitement they share with the person who walks with them. One of my favorite moments to capture is the look each couple gives each other after the vows are said and they share a kiss in front of their family and friends. Its only for a second, but every couple’s look is different. Sometimes its “OMG we did it!!”, sometimes its “I don’t think I could possibly love you anymore than I do right now”, they are all shared looks with each other that only that couple can understand. Here are some of my favorite “post kiss” moments captured from the last few years.
Oh, and in case you didn’t know this, the couple in the middle is my husband and I right after our wedding kiss!
