Yes, I know I am a bit late getting these up. Better late than never, right?
So here we are, 2013.. what a crazy year 2012 was! I started out the year by moving to Connecticut and spent the rest of the year traveling like a mad woman all over the US and Mexico. Crazy might be the only word to describe it, and I loved every second of it!
I had so many opportunities and have meet so many awesome people… this is just a short list of things that I experienced and learned in 2012:
I went back to my home town of Seattle for a wedding on Bainbridge Island
I participated in a workshop in Mexico that changed me in so many ways
I learned riding on the subway in New York isn’t as scary as one may think
I learned that taking a taxi in New York is scary
I shot over 20 weddings in 8 states
I earned Silver Medallion status on Delta
I shot a 4 day Indian wedding where the groom got stuck in an elevator and had to be rescued by the fire department
My images got published in a book about same sex weddings
My images were published in a magazine
We lost our beloved Great Dane JoJo
I laughed a lot
I cried a lot
I learned about being vegan, even though I didn’t start being vegan until 2013
I met new vendors in Connecticut
I shot a LOT of film
I met new vendors in New York
I learned that my new favorite camera is my 6×6 Mamiya C330
I fell more in love with my husband
I went to Lake Tahoe for the first time
I learned that Hot Yoga won’t kill me
Experienced my first New England lobster bake, which is way more amazing that you may think
I realized that 2012 was maybe my best year yet and I can’t wait to see where 2013 takes me 🙂
