Ever since I can remember I have loved photography. I credit my parents who always seemed to have a camera in their hands while we were growing up.
When I was little, my dad helped me set up a darkroom, and in high school I was on the yearbook staff and interned as a sports photographer for the local newspaper.
In 2003 I did a one month trek in Thailand. It was after that trip that I decided to go back to school to pursue my dream of becoming a photographer.
Here are a few facts about me that you might not know:

~I am a travel addict and the world is my travel bucket list
In 2004 I photographed my first wedding as a project in college and I completely fell in love with weddings that day. Since then I have photographed over 300 weddings all over the world (9 countries and counting)!
To me, every wedding is just as unique as the couple getting married. Whether it is at a venue I have been too many times, multi-cultural weddings with over 400 guests, or a small intimate wedding, I approach each wedding with a unique eye and an open mind.
I spend a lot of time with my clients prior to the wedding day getting to know them, their personalities, likes and dis-likes so that I can create images that are truly original to them. I work closely with my couples (and planners) to help them build the perfect timeline so their day doesn’t feel rushed, slow, or stressed. My goal is to make sure each moment through out the day is one they will never forget.
Some people ask what my “photography style” is, and I have to be honest, my style is my clients. I want to capture their day as it unfolds for them. I don’t do specific poses, or work off a shot list through out the day. This allows me to keep my eyes open to what is happening through out the day so I can document those special moments they will want to remember for the rest of their lives. I will, however, give my clients a lot of direction to help them feel comfortable in front of the camera. The more comfortable they are, the more natural the images will look.
My work has been featured in publications such as The Knot, Style Me Pretty, Wedding Chicks, Destination Weddings, and countless more. I have also had my images featured in several best selling books world wide!
Even though I live in New York and California, that doesn’t stop me from being available to my clients anywhere in the world. I feel so fortunate to have a full time career that allows me to meet such amazing people all over, and I look forward to meeting you soon!
